Thrombose (thrombosis)

• Eine Thrombose ist eine Gefäß-Erkrankung. Dabei bildet sich in einem Blutgefäß ein Blutgerinnsel (Thrombus). Lebensgefährlich kann eine Thrombose sein, wenn sich das Blutgerinnsel in die Lunge bewegt (Embolie).
• Thrombosis is a disease of the blood vessels. A blood clot (thrombus) forms in a blood vessel. Thrombosis can be life-threatening if the blood clot moves into the lungs (embolism).
